The Heat Is On: Highlights from Our Annual Chili Cookoff!

Our Annual Chili Cookoff is one of the most anticipated events of the year at Deep River Campground, and this year was no exception! Families, friends, and chili lovers gathered to share their secret recipes, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate the spirit of community.

A Day Full of Flavor and Fun
The event kicked off with contestants setting up their cooking stations, each bringing their unique spin on this classic dish. From spicy Tex-Mex to hearty vegetarian blends, the diversity of flavors was incredible. As the chili simmered, attendees explored the campground, enjoyed activities like games and nature trails, and, of course, took in the aroma of the delicious creations in progress.
